Procrastination #2 - The Sabbatical is Interrupted Again

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

Faithful followers of this site, will recall the announcement of my sabbatical. Unfortunately, this has not quite happened - yet, and plans are being revised. In the meantime, it seems appropriate to update the status of my procrastination series.

Since I last wrote on the subject, my research files have grown quite substantially, and now need to be better organized. The OPFS system now seems excessively chaotic and getting in the way of a dialogue.

In any case, I am persevering - soldiering on - repetitively as they did at the Battle of Somme. As I think back to that battle and the poetry I wrote this last Remembrance Day, doing nothing would have enhanced what was accomplished at horrendous cost at Somme. Well, here are some images that will acquaint you with my progress on procrastination.

There are those that see procrastination resulting in a sort of Falstaffian pickle as opposed to the creative and positive process that it can be. And, of course, seeing procrastination in a negative light, they want to do something about it. A mindmap brought to my mind the futility of even considering the idea of eliminating procrastination. Cheers, Norm
